As I mentioned in an early post, the Organization Science Winter Conference is being held outside North America for the first time, in the lovely and easily-accessible city of Zurich—Feb. 29-Mar 2. They have Chagall stained glass windows, which is reason enough to go!
The organizers (Stefano Brusoni, Vibha Gaba, John Joseph, and Violina Rindova) have worked hard to make the conference both accessible and affordable, securing sponsorship as well as a location with a myriad of housing options within a short walk or tram ride. In addition, we will have a doctoral consortium for the first time with the intent to provide opportunities for the next generation of scholars. The call for proposal and all details can be found at https://oswc-2024.ethz.ch/, thanks to the great work of Axel Zeijen at ETH Zurich. The deadline for short proposals is October 1. We are interested in a broad set of proposals from different fields related to the conference theme. In the tradition of the OSWC and in the spirit of inclusion, at least 50% of participants will be new based on the last few conferences. We hope you all will consider submitting a proposal!
